A release date will be announced soon to bring the final chapter of Monster Crown to players worldwide. ![]() I wanted to share an announcement from our twitter today, which reiterates the above and gives a little update on the sequel project the rest of the Studio Aurum team is focused on:ĭevelopment of Monster Crown's DLC has completed and is in final testing. ![]() I say DLC these days so casually I take for granted that it may not be clear, so just to be 100% clear, it's just a game update with a lot of new content, and is entirely free. There will be an announcement for the release date shortly, as well as images and teasers for the many new monsters and cool things included. I am so excited to see where the world of Monster Crown is going to go in the sequel, as the first game, while it had its issues, had so much potential.ĭevelopment of the long-awaited DLC is finally complete. The dev from Monster Crown is serving as a game producer on the project, but is delegating other details to others. It’s being created with a full studio team this time around. Third, and finally, Monster’s Crown’s creator announced Monster Crown 2. I’m not sure how it will be distributed, but color me intrigued. Second, there is a TCG coming for Monster Crown. First, the dev has completed the free DLC, which is to be the last update for the game and will roll out in the future. Yesterday brought on a trio of announcements for the game. I really should revisit it.Īlthough maybe I should wait a little longer. Since then, the dev has continued to work on it, making bug fixes and adding content. It was full of bugs but I still really enjoyed what I played. Here we have yet another follow-up on a game from that list of alternates to Pokemon I made last year! Monster Crown is a monster-catching RPG with a dark-as-heck storyline and graphics similar to the game boy color era of Pokemon games. ![]()
